Andy Massieon
Consultant
Like many young boys, Andy Massieon, a founding member of Ameritime, LLC and sister company, Compass Financial Resources, LLC, had a dream to someday play professional football. He grew up cheering for Kansas State Wildcats (where his father played in the mid-1960’s). The closest Andy came to realizing his childhood dream of being a professional football player was playing alongside Leon Lett while at Emporia State University. As a Dallas Cowboy, Leon eventually became an All-Pro and one of the most feared and respected defensive players in the NFL.
Many attributes that Andy cultivated from playing sports align and reflect with his philosophy on serving clients…teamwork, commitment, unselfishness, unity, consistency, leadership, responsibility, common goals, shared vision, dedication, preparation, communication and trust.
With three decades of experience in financial services, Andy specializes in looking at the world from his clients’ perspective and understanding what is most important to them. He believes it is vital to take the time to get to know people and communicate with them when and how they need it. Andy understands that financial planning is about much more than money – it’s about having the insight and vision to translate the values and priorities of clients into the long-term peace of mind.

Andy’s commitment to listening to and learning from clients was instilled early in his life by his small town attorney dad. Hanging out in his father’s Seneca, Kansas office nearly every day after school, Andy watched his dad treat every person who walked through his door with respect and compassion. His dad was a master of listening to clients and seeing the world through their eyes, and Andy honors his dad’s memory by doing the same for his clients.
Beyond work, Andy is an active community volunteer. He is a former ten-year board member and two-times President of the *National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) chapter. NAIFA leads the financial services industry in its efforts to help protect and preserve the potential impacts of healthcare, financial services, and tax reform for advisors and the clients they serve. NAIFA’s Advocacy efforts have always been at the forefront, protecting the interests and financial futures of the American people. He also is a past board member of the Greater Kansas City Young Advisor Team.
Along with his wife, Jennifer, Andy’s most important role is being an All-Pro Dad to Drew and Sophie. Drew attends Kansas State University studying secondary education and is a team captain on the KSU club lacrosse team. Sophie attends Saint Thomas Aquinas. He has been an “Official Lunchroom Helper” at his children’s school. In addition, he has coached his children in multiple sports. Whether it is soccer, lacrosse, track, volleyball or basketball, he will always be their biggest fan, cheering them on to do their best and to have fun.
Andy is affiliated with the Olathe office.
